Biography

I achieved my Masters in Library Science from UCLA, and Masters of Public Administration from California State University Long Beach. I have worked for Beverly Hills Public Library, Sacramento Public Library, Palos Verdes Library District, and Torrance Public Library before moving to the Monterey County Free Libraries.  I have also served as Chair for MOBAC and SCLC, and currently serve on the Executive Committee for the Pacific Library Partnership, and on the Advocacy Committee for the Association for Rural and Small Libraries. 

Candidate Statement:

It is my pleasure to once again request your support to serve CLA on the Board.  I have experience in the Secretary position twice, and on the Finance Committee, Leadership Development Committee, Interest Group Committee, Advocacy Committee, Bylaws and Governance Commitee, and as your President in 2020.  I am a lifetime member of CLA, and make attending Conference my annual professional development priority.
